The boys and their toys

This is right at the four corners of our old place.The

road was washed out. Very deep and very wide.Jerry (Hj) did fill it in a couple of times.
It seems no matter how busy there is time to play.

I will tell you that there is someone in the family that
has gotten it stuck. No names though. Well, I will tell
you this person has the shortest name in the family.
After all he should get the credit. I think he needed a
big shovel.

It would seem there might be a swimming pool in the

basement here.

This is the potato warehouse northeast of Tappen.

The ditches are overflowing. They are pumping

water to the west to try to get rid of it.

This winter of ours is unreal!!

Our cows needed to be closer to home. We traveled

through snow, ice, water and mud to get them there.How relieved I am to have them near the barns. I am sure Jerry and Ty are too
We went to Fargo to help Troy, Shirley and kids.

Now this is my front yard. That is water out there!!This morning I had geese visiting me and they now

have open water to swim in.
They were very happy to have water so close to their nesting areas.

Every morning when the cows hear the tractors

they line up waiting for their breakfast.
This is right south of my house so I get to watch them daily.

Here they eat from their buffet line. Corn, chopped hay,

some supplement and silage. Yum!!

Another Dakota Prairie snow storm

Jerry says this looks like the end of the world. Nothing

but snow and more snow.Some of our trees have these huge snow banks between

the rows.

Our journey to Minnesota for Nolan's birthday

Nolan requested a Spider Man cake and this is what it ended
looking like. No pro chef here!!Nolan was thrilled with one his new toys (a Nerf gun)Jeff was also thrilled with this new toy and spent

a lot of time trying to find new areas to shoot the ammo.

This provided all of us many laughs.

Now it was decided the thing to do was lay on the floor and

spin the ceiling fan to see how many darts

you could stick to the blades.

Even the old guys got into the Wii. Here they are bowling.

I do believe the kids won the game.

Aidyn was determined to sew something. Being the seamstress

that both her mother and grandmother are, she ended up

sewing pockets out of a cloth. She then finished the project

by sewing beads on and a handle. What a crafty person she is.

It turned out very cute when she was done with her project that
she spent the day doing.
