The deer watching me as I am watching them

The deer had found the hay bales so Jerry moved the bales home before

they completely ruined them.

They had the leftovers to eat. Now I was there watching as

it seems I had nothing better to do. They weren't real

sure about me being there but did eat Another deer just walking around the snow banks.

Venison anyone??

This AM I had several deer come visiting. I am thinking

they were looking for something to eat. These deer were

right outside my front door. I know they are cold and

hungry with the winter weather we are having.

Now this was yesterday morning after a very foggy

start of the day. Everything was white. Very pretty.

Now this might not look like much but it is a snow bank

right in front of the house.

My driveway is buried. Just enough room to walk out the
door and then trudge through the snow to your vehicle.

We have way too much snow!!!

One of the trails Jerry had to plow through to move bales.

Some of our trees in the snow. That is about a six to

eight foot snow bank in those trees. Maybe more. I am

not about to go out there and measure. I might never

get back out and I wouldn't be found until spring.

Now I would think that we have enough of this but, "NO",

it is to snow more tonight and more next week.

Rabbit stew anyone????

Does anyone like rabbit stew? I am about to have a rabbit for you to use as you please. This miserable little bunny climbed aboard my Christmas bear that was outside my front window. He used it as a hiding place away from the snow and wind. Well, now that would of been okay but he also chewed through the wiring that went into the bears head and also chewed off ten or more bulbs. Now I am wondering why he wasn't electrocuted when he did all this but evidently he is a blessed rabbit and lived through it all. Of course all the lighting in the bears head is now no longer working. I am waiting with my 22 rifle and maybe will have some fresh meat for anyone that wants it. Just give me a call. I will admit he is a cute little bunny but you can only take so much. One of his relatives chewed off my flowers this summer and he made his way into bunny heaven. He does have a new name!! Nothing that I would print here though. My grandkids say I swear, well now this would make anyone swear.

under the Christmas bear. Another snowy day in

Dakota prairie country. Now this was right in front

of the house so I could watch him/her with its nose

constantly twitching. Now I realize that this is hard to see but there is a bear

with a red ribbon on his neck and the rabbit decided

this was a good place to get out of the snow and wind.

The bear was getting buried in the snow and his head

would no longer move so I dug him out of the snow

and brought him into the garage. The bunny has to

find a new home. There are a lot of snow banks where

that little rabbit can dig another hole.

Some Christmas Candids

Christmas Eve was a family evening with all the kids

and grandkids home. My mother also was here to

help celebrate the joyous birth of Jesus. What a joy

to have all my family here to laugh and enjoy one another.

With much good food and good humor the evening was a success.
