Geese in North Dakota

These are the snows and canadians that are feeding in our fields right now. Such a sight to see. They are a bit spooky though. It is certainly a sure sign of spring.

Ours cows out grazing in the nice ND weather

Just a great day to graze. These cattle came to say "hello" one fine day so as they posed, I took their picture.

Jerry's 1952 International Truck

Jerry and Justin with the 1952 truck that they are restoring. They will put a box on this truck and repaint. They will be in right in style driving this truck. Jerry bought it at Bill White's auction sale.

Coyotes on the prairie

It seems we are surrounded by coyotes. This morning at 1 am they were howling from every direction near our house. You would of sworn they were in the kitchen when I first heard them. Just glad there aren't any new calves out there for them to snack on. They are getting more populated around here all the time. We need the wildlife people to come get some of these creatures.

Snow in February

We are in the snow bowl today. Finally getting some snow. The ground is white and looks beautiful. It is also warmer therefore the roads are dangerous. We are to get up to 4 inches of this white stuff. I like to see the snow fall but I don't tell anyone in my household that as I am the only one that likes it. :-)

We are in the deep freeze here!!!

On Sunday we were at 44 degrees above. Today we are at 44 degrees below zero. It is very windy and not a good day to decide to go for a long walk. Our actual temperature is 18 degrees below but with the wind it feels like 44 below. That is ND for you, if you don't like the weather just wait a few hours or a day and it will be different.

Critters

It seems we are about run over by critters out here. We have seen about 50 deer in one area south of our house, 5 coyotes running just east of our house and of course all the pheasants. It is really neat to see all these animals just doing their own thing and not bothering anybody. Of course they do make a mess of the hay stacks. If I could get a picture of all of them, I would.
